Economics of Diversity, Gender and Equality (EDGE) Network
Economics of Diversity, Gender and Equality (EDGE) is a network of UK-based economists working on issues in diversity, gender and equality across developed and developing countries. The aim of the network is to create a community of researchers working on related topics, to share ideas and to disseminate relevant information.
The network steering committee is comprised of Eleonora Guarnieri (Exeter), Mahreen Mahmud (Exeter), Sandra Mcnally (Surrey/CEP/CVER), Sonia Oreffice (Exeter), Almudena Sevilla (LSE), Zahra Siddique (Bristol), and Sarah Smith (Bristol).
Our activities include:
A monthly seminar series (2pm UK-time on the first Monday of each month during academic term times). The schedule is available here.
A termly newsletter that provides an opportunity to communicate about published papers and upcoming workshops/ conferences.
An annual workshop
If you are a UK-based economist and would like to sign-up for the network or you would like to present in the seminar series, please click here. We particularly welcome offers to present from junior researchers. For any questions, you can contact us on edgenetwork.uk@gmail.com
